Mens Team Tennis August end of season update

Gents,

thanks for your participation, sweat, tears and technique during this season.

Lymm has enjoyed an overall good season  and you’ve contibuted to that.

In the Dunlop Warrington and District League the 1st team finished runners-up to Lane1. The 2nd team had a healthy season and finished 5th. The 3rd team and 4th teams were relegated from  Division 2 disappointingly. The 5th team WON Division 4. The 6th team assisted the 5th team in Division 4 by picking up valuable points and staying in the division. The 7th team finished sixth  and the 8th team finished fifth in Divisions 5 and 6 respectively.

In the Slazenger North East Cheshire League, the 1st team narrowly missed promotion and finished 3rd in Division 1. The 2nd team WON promotion by finished second in Division 5. The 3rd team had another good season and finished second in Division 6b.

So some really strong performances and quite a lot of flexibility needed this season as we had less players to select from.

We’ll take stock and look at this season to plan for next season.

Once again, thank-you for representing Lymm and I hope that you’ve enjoyed competitive tennis in 2011.
